My guests received a traditional letter pressed invite produced by Day Moon Press, a real gem in Beacon Hill.

Much like the soft launch (where we were lucky to taste and learn about rare Mezcals) I began the evening with a champagne tasting from Fatcork of three grapes from the Champagne region with varying dosage. We toasted the end of the tasting with a traditional champagne cocktail (thanks to Seaworthy), completed with floating edible silver flakes and 24K gold leaf. In between tastings, we snacked on gougères and stuffed dried figs. Despite a quick detour into discussing autolytics and orgasms, we were off to a perfect start. Or… maybe thanks to these hiccups???
Our Bon Vivants were gracious and lovely about being herded to each pièce de resistance the evening had to offer. Not wanting to miss the cheese plate, the artwork featuring more gold leaf or the presentation by Dominick, the owner of Seaworthy, our evening was rich in many ways.

The depth of the knowledge and connections shared that evening will remain entre-nous. However, I hope you enjoyed this small lens into a magical event. There will be many more to come!
